AMBA is a real-time safety and emergency response platform connecting individuals, families, and organizations to help in seconds, through one-press SOS alerts, Safe Circle networks, and connected security teams across Nigeria.
Yes. AMBA is completely free for individuals and families, SOS alerts, Safe Circle, and trip sharing come at no cost, no card required. Organizations pay a per-user monthly fee for institutional dashboards and response tools.
Download AMBA from the App Store or Google Play, create your profile, and build your Safe Circle by adding trusted contacts. If you belong to a connected organization, an estate, university, or workplace, enter their access code to link your account. The whole process takes about three minutes.
AMBA delivers SOS alerts to your Safe Circle and connected organization in an average of about 3 seconds from the moment you trigger it, with retry logic in place if your connection is weak.
Your Safe Circle is a group of trusted contacts, family, friends, or colleagues, who are instantly notified with your live location whenever you trigger an SOS alert or start a shared trip.
You can cancel a mistaken SOS quickly from within the app. AMBA's alert logic favors clear, rule-based triggers over guesswork specifically to reduce false positives, and a fast cancel path is always available.
Yes. AMBA is engineered for real network conditions, if a connection drops mid-alert, the app retries delivery and queues critical data so a weak signal doesn't mean a missed SOS.

Your organization receives a unique access code. Members enter this code in the app to link their account directly to your security team's dashboard, no manual approval needed per user.

No. Onboarding, inviting responders, assigning roles, and connecting your community, is included in every plan.
Every individual linked to your organization's access code, students, residents, staff, or passengers, counts as one connected user, regardless of how often they trigger an alert.
We'll reach out before you hit your ceiling so you can move to the next tier with no gap in coverage. Nothing is cut off automatically.

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256), access is role-based and limited to what's needed, and AMBA never sells user data to third parties.
Only your Safe Circle and, if you're linked to one, your connected organization's authorized responders, using role-based access so no one sees more than their role requires.
Yes, deletion requests are supported. Reach out to our support team and we'll process your request in line with applicable data protection regulation.

Yes. AMBA's core SOS and Safe Circle features work fully for individuals with no organization link required, connecting to an organization is optional and adds their security team as an additional responder layer.
Open your Safe Circle settings in the app and remove any contact at any time, they'll stop receiving your alerts and location immediately.
